Govans Community Acupuncture
5209 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212
Mary Welliver-Dillon, L. Ac.
Mary first encountered acupuncture when her cousin, a doctor, took a weekend course and started to use acupuncture to help his brother's headaches.
After attending Tai Sophia (now MUIH) in Maryland, Mary immediately converted her practice to community-based treatments.
She has worked and volunteered at the Joy Wellness Center at Shepherd's Clinic for the Uninsured.
She also teaches middle schoolers by day and takes care of four chickens by night.
5209 York--McCabe Mansion, our Home
We are located across the street from the CVS, just north of Cold Spring Lane.
When you walk through these doors, look for our doorbell on your left!
We do have three steps on the porch, but none inside.
About Govans Community Acupuncture
Govans Community Acupuncture opened in February 2011. Inspired by the community acupuncture movement and the book Acupuncture is Like Noodles, Govans proudly aims to serve working-class patients with reliable, affordable care in order to promote health justice, especially to our marginalized neighbors in Baltimore.
Because we are a community clinic, we do not have a medical or spa-like atmosphere. Our clinic feels like a living room and we invite you to relax here.
